Joker AI Privacy Policy
Last updated
This policy explains what Joker AI does with data. The short version: the game keeps the records a card game needs — who sat at which table and how the score sheet ended — under your Amavie account; chat at the table is not written down; and the account itself is held by Amavie, not by the game.
The short version
Joker AI is played online, so unlike a solitaire app it cannot live on your device alone: your finished games, rating, achievements, cosmetics, friends and direct messages are stored on our servers under your Amavie account so that they follow you between devices.
Signing in uses your existing Amavie account. What passes between Amavie and Joker AI is who you are — an account identifier, your handle or display name, your avatar and the email the account is registered with — together with your Quanta balance and your block list, which Amavie holds for every product.
Conversation in the chat rooms and at a table is kept only briefly: each keeps its last fifty messages, and a room or table chat that stays silent for 24 hours is erased. Direct messages are the exception — they are stored so that both people can read them later.
Who is responsible
The controller is ANIMA AI 007 SERVICES - FZCO, IFZA, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Joker AI is the name of the game; ANIMA AI 007 SERVICES - FZCO is the company behind it, and behind Amavie.
For anything in this policy, including requests about your data, write to [email protected].
Your Amavie account, shared with Amavie
Joker AI does not run accounts of its own. Signing in uses your Amavie account, created and managed by Amavie for the whole product family; the same email address always leads to the same single account, and a separate Joker AI account is never created.
joker.amavie.ai belongs to the amavie.ai domain, so a valid Amavie session on your device is visible to the game. When Joker AI opens it asks the Amavie identity service whether such a session exists; if it does, you are signed in automatically and we read your account identifier, handle or display name and avatar to show them at the table. If you create the account from inside Joker AI, the password you choose goes straight to the Amavie identity service and is never stored by the game.
Two more things come from Amavie because Amavie holds them for every product: your Quanta balance, which the shop reads before a purchase, and your block list, which the game consults before delivering a direct message, a friend request or a gift.
The account itself — its email address, changing or resetting its password, its deletion — is handled in Amavie under the Amavie Privacy Policy. Joker AI never asks for your age: the account minimum age is set and checked by Amavie under the Amavie Age Policy.
What the game stores
When a game ends we store its record: the table, the rules preset, who sat in each seat, the full score sheet, the final places, and per-seat counters such as bids kept, tricks taken and joker plays. Ranked games also update your rating, league and season standing. These records are what History, Profile statistics and the leaderboards are made of, and they are kept for as long as your account exists.
Achievements and the metrics you choose to show on your profile, the cosmetics you own and have equipped, gifts sent and received, your friends list and friend requests, the Amavie characters you follow, and your settings for notifications, for who may message you or invite you to a table and for whether others see you online are stored with your account for the same reason.
A live table is held in the memory of our game server. So that a restart on our side does not kill a game, and so that a casual game against bots can be paused and resumed, the current state of a table is also written to a short-lived store while the table exists; it is deleted when the table closes.
When you play with an Amavie character, a short summary of your games together — who played, who won and how many games — is passed to Amavie so that the character can refer to them in its conversations with you. That is the only game data that leaves Joker AI for another product.
Chat, direct messages and reports
The chat rooms (one per language) and the chat of each table keep only their most recent messages — currently the last fifty — so that someone who joins can follow the conversation. They are held in memory and in the game server's short-term store, so a restart of the server does not wipe them; a room or table chat that stays silent for 24 hours is erased, and nothing older than those fifty messages is retained. The chat of a table is open only to the people seated at it. Reactions at the table — stickers, the game’s own phrases, and up to four short phrases of your own (at most 24 characters each, kept with your account as part of your reaction wheel and screened like chat) — are shown to the table for a moment only.
Direct messages are stored on our servers so that both people can read the conversation later. They are kept until one of the two accounts is deleted, at which point the whole conversation is removed for both. For each conversation the game also keeps how many messages you have not read yet, how far you have read it and whether you muted it; the other person sees when you have read their messages, and sees «typing…» while you write to them.
When you report a message, our server attaches its own copy of that message — the author, the time and the text — to the report and passes it to the Amavie moderation team under your account; the report is recorded by Amavie with the rest of its moderation records. A phrase of your own shown at the table can be reported the same way.
At a table where an Amavie character sits, the character reacts to the game and can answer what is written in that table’s chat. To write its line, our server sends the latest lines of that table’s chat, with the names of the players who wrote them, and a plain description of the public state of the game — never anyone’s cards — to Google’s Gemini model on Vertex AI, which processes them on our behalf under Google Cloud’s terms and may not use them to train its models. Nothing is sent from a table without a character, from the chat rooms or from direct messages. A character’s line can be reported like any message.
What the app sends over the network
Like any online game, our servers write standard technical logs for your connection — IP address, browser or app identification, time and the addresses requested. They are used to keep the service running and to stop abuse, and they are kept for a limited period.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the game is used — which screens are visited, whether a game was started or finished. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland analytics cookies are off unless you have chosen otherwise, and Google receives only cookieless, aggregate signals; elsewhere analytics cookies are on. Advertising identifiers and advertising storage are always off: there are no advertising SDKs, no ad networks and no data sale in Joker AI.
If you turn notifications on in the Joker AI app, the notification token your phone receives from Apple or Google is stored with your Amavie account, so that we can tell you about a direct message, an invitation to a table, a rematch, or a game where a bot is about to play your seat while the app is closed; the notification shows the sender’s handle and the beginning of their message. You choose which of these arrive in Settings, then Notifications; between 22:00 and 09:00 by your phone’s clock only a rematch or your seat can make a sound, and «your turn» and advertising are never sent. Signing out or turning notifications off removes the token. Fonts, artwork and sounds are served from our own infrastructure, so opening the game does not announce you to anyone else.
Purchases
Quanta bought inside the App Store or Google Play edition of this app are sold by Apple or Google: they process the payment and pass us a receipt or transaction identifier so that the Quanta can be credited to your Amavie account. We never see your card number. On the web, Quanta are bought at amavie.ai under the Amavie Privacy Policy.
The Quanta ledger — what you bought, what you spent and where — is kept by Amavie for every product. Joker AI records which cosmetics you own and which gifts you sent, so that they can be shown and, where you gifted an item, so that the recipient can see who it came from.
Your rights, and deleting your data
For your Amavie account — access, correction, export, objection and, where applicable, a complaint to a supervisory authority — use the tools and contacts in the Amavie Privacy Policy, because the account is held there. For questions that concern only Joker AI, write to [email protected] and we will route them.
Deleting the account can be started from inside this app: Settings, then Account, then Delete Amavie account. The moment the account is deactivated, Joker AI erases what it holds about you: your ratings, achievements, profile metrics, cosmetics and equipped items, your friends list and friend requests, your gifts sent and received, your settings, and your direct messages — for both sides of each conversation. The records of games you played with other people are kept, because they are their games too, but your identity is removed from them: the seat stays, the name does not.
What the 30 days hold open is the account itself: until then you can bring it back yourself — sign in at amavie.ai/liquidation and choose “Keep My Account” — or [email protected] can do it if you ask. That restores the account and its sign-in — not the Joker AI content erased above, which is gone at once. Until it is brought back, the account is closed in every Amavie app. When the 30 days pass, what is left of the account is erased permanently, automatically; to have it done sooner, write to [email protected]. Financial records are kept for as long as the law requires. Deletion applies to the account for every Amavie app. Copies in our backups are deleted on a fixed schedule — daily backups after 30 days, archive copies after up to 12 months (Amavie Privacy Policy, Section 6b).
If you also use other Amavie apps, you can leave only Joker AI instead of deleting the account: Settings (or the bottom of your Profile), then Account, then Leave Joker AI. Joker AI then erases at once the same data listed above, you are no longer present in Joker AI, and you are signed out of it on your devices. Your Amavie account — its profile and handle, Quanta and subscription — and your data in the other apps stay; Quanta already spent in Joker AI are not refunded. Signing in to Joker AI again later starts it anew.
Children
Joker AI is not directed at children under 13. An Amavie account requires you to be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your country (see the Amavie Age Policy); if you do not meet that age, do not play. Joker AI contains no adult content — the adults-only part of the Amavie family, Amavie AI Characters, is a separate service with its own 18+ confirmation, and nothing from it appears in the game.
